Privacy Policy

Teczen respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it and what control you have.

Last updated: 2026. This policy applies to www.teczen.in and to the Teczen products and services described on it.

1. Information we collect

We may collect details such as your name, business email address, telephone number, company name, job role and the content of enquiries you send us when you interact with our website or services. Where you use a Teczen product under a customer agreement, we also process the operational data your organisation enters into that product on its own behalf.

We automatically collect limited technical information — IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed and referring URL — through cookies and analytics tools, as described in section 5.

2. How we use information

Information is used only to provide and improve our services, respond to enquiries, deliver support, process contractual obligations, send service communications and, where you have opted in, share relevant product and industry updates. Teczen does not sell personal information and does not share it for unrelated third-party marketing.

3. Lawful basis

We process personal data on the basis of your consent (for example, when you submit a demo request), the performance of a contract (delivering the services your organisation has purchased), our legitimate interests in operating and improving our business, and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Customer data in Teczen products

Where your organisation uses a Teczen product, your organisation is the controller of the data it enters and Teczen acts as processor under the terms of the customer agreement. We process that data only to provide the service, to meet documented instructions, and to fulfil legal obligations. We do not use customer operational data to train models or for our own marketing.

5. Cookies and analytics

This website uses cookies that are necessary for it to function, and Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage — which pages are read, how visitors arrive and where journeys stop. IP anonymisation is enabled and advertising, ad personalisation and ad-user-data storage are set to denied by default. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site remains usable with cookies disabled.

6. Data sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us operate — hosting, analytics, email delivery, customer support and payment processing — under contractual confidentiality and security obligations, and where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

7. Security

We apply role-based access control, encryption in transit and at rest, audit logging, regular backups and reviewed access policies. No system is absolutely secure, but we treat customer ledgers, identity documents and payroll data as among the most sensitive records we handle.

8. Retention

We retain enquiry data for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of the business relationship, and customer data for the duration of the agreement plus any period required by law. Data can be exported or deleted on request, subject to legal retention requirements.

9. Your rights

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, and request a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected].

10. International transfers

Teczen operates in India and serves clients across the GCC. Where data is transferred between jurisdictions, we apply appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law and any data residency commitments made in your customer agreement.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above, and significant changes affecting customers will be communicated directly.

12. Contact

Questions about this policy or how your data is handled can be sent to [email protected] or by post to BHIVE, Mahalakshmi Chambers, 29, MG Road, next to Metro Station Trinity, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560001, India.
